Meet Dr. Timothy Gogan
Dr. Timothy C. Gogan, DDS, is a knowledgeable and experienced family dentist with 40 years of diagnostic experience with superb results. Dr. Gogan received his degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He opened his own practice in 1976, committed to creating healthy teeth and gums for a lifetime.
Dr. Tim has volunteered his time, talent, and treasure to help various charities in the Los Angeles area for the last 45 years. Some of his volunteer work includes:
- USC mobile dental clinic providing free dental care for American Indian children and migrant farmer children
- USC Troy Camp - camp counselor and tutor
- St. Brendan Church youth leader
- Senior Citizens Director - coordinated holiday luncheons/bus trips
- Volunteer Larchmont Boulevard Association - chairperson for Larchmont Family Fair
- Vice President - Windsor Square/Hancock Park Historical Society - preserving the history and architecture of the Windsor Square/Hancock Park area
- Floral Décor - Christ the King Church (10 years) & St. Brendan Church (30 years)
- Beautification for Larchmont Village (17 park benches & 10 planters)
- Lector and cantor at St. Brendan Catholic Church
Dr. Gogan was selected from over 800 applicants as the official dentist for the 1984 Summer Olympic Games. He personally treated 150 athletes, coaches, and trainers at the University of Southern California Olympic Village.
Specializing in tooth bonding, porcelain crown and bridge work, Dr. Gogan has also written for the Los Angeles Times Health Syndicate and the Larchmont Chronicle. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Los Angeles Dental Society.
Meet The Staff
Jeanette
Jeanette Estrella (RDA) graduated from Dental School in the Philippines and joined the team 2002. As a main dental assistant for the doctor, she loves to accommodate and let the patient feel comfortable as soon as they come in.
In her free time, she loves to spend it with her family and friends. They love to go hiking, biking, go camping and road trips together especially in the summer time.
Margot
Margot Dupre (RDA, Administrative Coordinator) has been with Dr. Gogan since our office opened in 1976. She is a native of Louisiana (Baton Rouge). She adds her warm southern charm and kindness to help make each patient's visit a wonderful experience.
She enjoys cooking and entertaining. Margot especially cherishes the time spent with her three children, seven grandsons and her new granddaughter.
Emilia
When Emilia Granillo-Tobar (RDA) was little she always knew she wanted to be part of a dental team. She became part of our family in 2011. Emilia enjoys assisting the doctor and helping patients improve their smiles. She loves coming to a friendly place to work and the early working hours.
Emilia's hobbies include baking, watching movies, and most important: spending time with family. In the future she wants to manage the office and become a dental hygienist (RDH). We are so happy to have her part of our family.
Victoria
Victoria Funderburk (RDA, Dental Insurance) is our office dental insurance benefits specialist. She has been with our office since 1978. She is the best person to help maximize your insurance dollars. Victoria has a unique history; she began her dental career as Registered Dental Assistant, graduated to office administrator and then advanced to an insurance specialist.
An LA native, Victoria is a Weight Watcher Spokesperson on her days off.
